Brian Lynch is a Civil Engineer and Project Manager with over 17 years’ experience in the Building and Civil Engineering industry, having worked on large scale construction projects as head senior engineer and project manager.
Having qualified with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from LIT Brian went on to work for one of the world’s leading Civil Engineering companies. Having worked his way up through the ranks to Site Agent in a few short years, he returned to college to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Management.

Having worked his way up through the ranks to Site Agent in a few short years, he returned to college to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Management.
During the Financial crisis of 2008 he moved to London where he worked on large scale construction sites before moving to the North of England as head senior engineer and project manager looking after heavy civil projects and water retaining structures. In 2011 he emigrated to Australia where he continued his career as a project manager for civils company, specialising in Underground Electrical projects. Having spent some time in the oil and gas industry, he returned to the UK to re-join the Civil Engineering company with whom he started his career. This saw him manage various projects around the UK with him returning to Ireland in 2018. Working for a civil and structural engineering design consultancy, he oversaw the design and construction of projects averaging upwards of €10m in budget.
On his return to Ireland, he undertook the renovation of a number of houses in the Clare region, acting as designer and project manager. Working closely with architects and interior designers is something he has a real passion for. Having registered as a BER Assessor in 2020, he has now completed over 350 assessments around the country.
With a keen interest in Sustainability and Climate Action, Brian has completed courses in Thermal Insulation Installation, NZEB External Wall Insulation, NZEB Ventilation. Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) is something he believes we should all be striving towards.
With a Diploma in Project Management, and further qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, First Aid, Architectural AutoCAD and Mechanical Engineering AutoCAD continuous professional development and lifelong learning is something that he keeps in the forefront of the business.
